I am a latte QUEEN in the morning, whether it’s matcha (my FAV), coffee, mocha, whatever! Give me a hot beverage, some extra powdery nutrients (mushroom/superfood powders), and some coconut milk — and arguably too much coconut sugar — and I’m swooning.

Since I’ve been experimenting with hot morning beverages and really pushing the limits, I’ve found some unimaginably AMAZING recipes/variations I’d love to share.

MATCHA CHAI SPICE LATTE (without the ‘chai’)

My total go-to!

Ingredients:

  • Matcha (or water, if you don’t jive with matcha)
  • Milk of choice
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Cardamom
  • Cloves
  • Sweetener of choice
    • *Optional:
    • Vanilla extract
    • Mushroom powders (this is an always-thing for me)

PEANUT BUTTER COFFEE LATTE

Okay, before you think anything! — Do you like peanut butter? Do you like coffee? Try it.

Ingredients:

  • Coffee/Water
  • Milk of choice
  • Smooth peanut butter (maybe start small with a 1/2 teaspoon, then blend it up and add more if you want). I usually do ~1 Tablespoon
  • Sweetener of choice
    • Optional:
    • Chocolate or vanilla protein powder


MEXICAN MOCHA LATTE

Ingredients:

  • Coffee/Water/whateverz
  • Milk of choice
  • Cacao powder
  • Cayenne
  • Cinnamon
  • Sweetener of choice
    • *Optional:
    • Nutmeg
    • Chili powder
    • Vanilla extract
    • Mushroom powders


BEET ROOT LATTE

Another one that may sound wacky, but trust me!
